My Hardest Thing
All right, so none of this challenge is especially easy for me, but I can handle most of it. I'm getting the veggies okay, because I like to have salads, and I love a good relish tray. I've always loved eating fruit. Exercising is hard, but I can do it. Sweets...I'm so glad we have a cheat day. Otherwise I might die. The thing that is SO hard for me is drinking all this WATER!!!!! I feel like 64 oz. is a lot. Does anyone else have stomach aches at the end of the day from drinking water? I don't drink anything else either. Just water. Anyway, sorry if this sounds like a complaint, but how do you all get your water in without bursting? I hope all of you are feeling good with this challenge. I know I am (besides the water stomach ache, hehe)!

I don't know if this will help, but I purchased a 32 oz clear, lined cup with straw and lid and fill it up twice a day. I fill it up first thing in the morning and keep it out near me all day. When I see it, I take a sip and then refill. By the end of the day, it's a lot easier for me to get all my water b/c it's sitting right in front of me and I access it before I eat anything. I hope this helps or, you find something that does. :)
ReplyDeletei am with melissa. by a cup and refill it. as for the stomach ache, try to drink most of your water at the beginning of the day. and be sure to drink while you eat. 3 meals + 12 oz of water = more than half your water for the day. and the food helps absorb it.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you are measuring out your water. Chances are, a glass in your kitchen is more like 12-15 ounces, not 8. If you are having 8 of those, you would be close to drowning! I agree with the others, try to drink with all of your meals (it helps you eat less too!). I drink half a glass about 15 minutes before I eat and then another glass with my meal. Maybe make a goal to try to get 40 oz of water by the end of lunch. I used to keep a big water cup at my desk and sip from it all day long and mark how many times I filled it up. Now that I work less at a desk, I have to make more of a conscious effort but if I try to get most of it in before dinner, I'm good to go. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteI like to drink and drive, the safe way. Haha. Normally it would be torture for me to try and drink 32 oz in 30 minutes, but if I'm driving it's not a problem at all.
