Dessert Nightmares

Hello all my healthy friends! I have to tell you about the NIGHTMARE I've had over and over since starting this challenge. At least once a week, probably more, I've had this horrible dream that I absentmindedly start eating some yucky candy, like Skittles - so not worth it. When I realize what I am doing I get so mad! I scream "Now I have to make this my cheat day!" with all the drama I can muster up. Gosh, couldn't it have at least been a Snickers!? Has anyone else been having weird challenge related dreams?

I also have a few questions for all of you. There are a few foods I've been avoiding or just not counting one way or the other when I eat them, because I'm not sure how you would all count them. I'm definitely a stickler for rules, so I'm going to finally ask! :)

Cucumber- Fruit or veggie?
Avocado- same question
Dried fruit- do you count it as fruit?
Sweet potato- ?

I know I've had other questions like this, but I can't think of them right now...

Make it a great week!

  1. i have been waiting for you to crack, ARE YOU SURE THIS WASN'T A DREAM?! haha

I would say that cucumbers, avocados, and sweet potatoes are vegetables. I would say dried fruit counts as long as it doesn't have sugar added (i am not a huge fruit person i will take it anyway other than juice). i think it is up to you though what you count for the challenge part.

  2. Haha Bethany, seriously! I have had those (day) dreams too. Sometimes I absent mindedly will pick something up to eat and after a bite or two I'll look down and think " oh no!" and then I'll look down and find a grape and say "whew!!!" Cucumbers-veg, avocado- fruit, dried fruit- fruit, sweet potato/potato- vegetable.

    1. I just looked the beans up online and was surprised to find that they are considered a vegetable. Cool!

    3. I actually did have an experience the second week where I popped a few red hots in my mouth on accident. When I realized what I had done, I was really ticked because it just then turned 9pm and I had wasted my sweet day on a few red hots. Couldn't it have been chocolate?!?!
