Hey everyone. My name is Amber. And as far as I know, I don't know anyone on here personally. But I am excited to get to know you all and get healthy together.
A little about me...I am 29 years old. I live in Spotsylvania, VA. I have lived here a majority of my life. I spent 6 years in Utah as a young adult, but this is home :) I am a full time student studying psychology, moving into business. I also work two jobs, nanny and server. I consider myself a pretty busy person.
My goals for this challenge. I use to be very active and fit. I worked out 2 times a day, ate super healthy, did races and triathlons regularly and so on. But then more of life, injuries and sickness happened and it set my life back in the fitness world. I am always trying to get back into habits, but get continually side tracked. So, here I am...trying to really get back on track. I would love to lose 20-25 pounds, get my run time faster and find time to focus on myself (greedy I know, but working out/running is a big time for me). Of course, I want to get back to healthy eating habits and other healthy goals.
I am excited for this and know I can do it if I stay focused and determined. Plus, the competition is motivating. Haha.
My goal this week...by any means no fried food! At all! This will be hard cause I am going out of town for the weekend and airports are such a trap for me. At suggestions on filling and healthy snacks for airport traveling?

i can feel your pain on sports injuries-- i had knee, ankle, and hip surgery before i was 18 because of soccer.
