I'm Krissy ... or Kris. Whatever you want to call me. I'm 31, a pisces, love the beach and think cats are hilarious. :D
Ok really ... haha - I have two kids, Natalie is 7 and Jonah is 5 1/2. I've been a single mom for a little over 3 years now, but recently got engaged! YAY! I'll be getting married this summer, which is obviously the driving factor behind joining the challenge. I don't have a particular amount of weight I want to lose in mind, mostly because I have SO MUCH that I NEED to lose, I don't want to limit or intimidate myself. I used to be skinny, once upon a time - but having kids and being in a bad marriage for 7 years took a toll on my body.
In addition to planning a wedding (it's really not as exciting the second time around lol), I'm in school full time, I work, and take my kids to various dr appointments and to their dad in TN. I had originally made a goal to go to the Y 3 times a week for a water class, and why I haven't followed through with it, I don't know.
I LOVE to cook. I am slightly addicted to diet pepsi and diet dr pepper. Having to reduce the amount I can have them is scary to me... BUT. Once I find my motivation, see results and get the habits down that I need to keep, I'll be golden.

I love to cook and bake too. I tried to reduce my sugar last year and got really into baking bread to replace all the cakes and cookies. It's so fun! I also did water aerobics with a roommate in college and loved it. You got this, girl!!
ReplyDeletefirst of all, i think we need to see a photo of you and your fiance where we can see both of your heads in entirety, because getting married is so exciting and you two look so adorable together!
